Gaynor Willis

We are so excited to share with you our latest episode with the inspirational 1984 British Olympic swimmer... Gaynor Willis (nee Stanley)

In this episode, we discussed Gaynor's experiences through her swimming career, the pressures that come with being the fastest in the world in her age at 13 and what her olympic final in LA was like!

We also discussed the differences from being a swimmer in Gaynor's era, to being a swimmer now, and the pros and cons that come with each.

Gaynor's 1984 Olympic final race here:

Huge thank you to Gaynor for coming on the episode, and being an open and 'honest athlete' about her time in the sporting world! It's always in honour to talk to true legends within the sporting world.
